All bookings are made for a specific cruise, date and departure time.

Cancellation by the Guest

If your plans change, you may cancel your booking under the following conditions:

• More than 72 hours before departure: full refund.
• Between 72 and 24 hours before departure: 50% refund.
• Less than 24 hours before departure: non-refundable.
• No-show or late arrival resulting in a missed departure: non-refundable.

Any applicable refund is calculated based on the scheduled departure time of the booked cruise.

Weather Forecasts

Weather forecasts may change and do not necessarily reflect the actual sailing conditions at the time of departure.

A forecast of rain, clouds, wind or other weather conditions does not by itself entitle the guest to a refund outside the cancellation terms above, provided that the cruise is operating as scheduled.

The decision whether conditions are suitable and safe for sailing is made by the Captain.

Cancellation by VIP Catamaran

Safety always comes first.

If the Captain determines that the weather, sea conditions or other circumstances affecting safe navigation do not allow the cruise to operate safely, VIP Catamaran reserves the right to cancel the cruise.

In this case, guests will be offered an alternative available date.

If the guest does not wish to accept the alternative date offered, the full amount paid for the cancelled cruise will be refunded.

Right of Withdrawal

Our cruises are leisure services booked for a specific date and time. Where applicable under consumer protection legislation, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts does not apply to leisure services provided on a specific date or during a specific period.

Any cancellation rights offered under this policy are contractual cancellation rights provided by VIP Catamaran and are separate from the statutory right of withdrawal.
